ManipalCigna Health insurance Company Limited (formerly known as Cigna TTK Health Insurance Company Limited) is a joint venture between the Manipal Group, a leader in the field of healthcare delivery and higher education in India and Cigna Corporation, a global health services company with presence in 30+ countries and serving 160 million+ customers around the world. Under the new structure, Cigna Corporation will continue to hold its 49 percent stake in the Indian health insurance venture, while Manipal Group increased its stake to 51 percent after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (“IRDAI”). They believe the combination of Manipal Group’s integrated healthcare expertise with multi-specialty hospital networks and Cigna‘s global expertise in health and wellness, positions ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company as a truly differentiated healthcare provider for people across India.
