Kenya is a country in Africa with 47 semiautonomous counties governed by elected governors. At 5.80 lacs sq km, Kenya is the world's 48th largest country by total area.   • Irio - Green peas and potatoes are boiled and then mashed up before whole kernels of maize (corn) are added to give the mash some extra starch and texture.
  • Githeri - Kenyan dish that consists of boiled beans, corn kernels, and possibly mixed in with a little bit of vegetables.
  • Wali wa nazi – White rice is cooked with grated coconut meat to create a fragrant twist on plain boiled rice and is best enjoyed with a serving of fish or chicken curry or some vegetables, or even bean stew
  • Sukuma Wiki - The nutritious green leafy vegetable is often cooked a few diced tomatoes, onions, and flavored with a sprinkle of mchuzi mix or stock cube flavoring.
