  • Benefits of Future Generali Future Criticare - Critical Illness Insurance policy

    Eligibility - Entry Age
    • Adults: 18 – 65 years lifetime renewal option
    • Children: 6 years to 25 years can be covered if parents are concurrently insured with Future Generali.
    Plan Options
    • Available on Individual & Family floater basis.
    • Floater Benefit: Under a single sum insured, cover yourself and your Family (family means Self, Spouse and up to 3 dependent children up to the age of 25 years, Or, Self, Spouse and 5 dependent children up to the age of 25 years).
    Maximum Sum Insured
    Age between 18 years to 45 years Sum insured from₹1 lac to ₹50 lacs
    Age between 46 years to 65 years Sum insured from ₹1 lac to ₹20 lacs

    Pre Acceptance Medical Tests
    Age up to 45 years and insurance up to ₹5 lacs Medical tests waived subject to no adverse health declaration on the proposal form
    Age over 46 years Medical tests required and 50% of the test charges are reimbursed, if you or family members are insured with us.

    Medical Report validity: 30 days from the day tests were done. Medical tests will be done in our empanelled diagnostic centre.

  • Coverages of Future Generali Future Criticare - Critical Illness Insurance policy

    Lump Sum Benefit

    In the event of diagnosis or procedures for any of the critical illnesses mentioned below, the CritiCare policy will pay a lump sum benefit. This is subject to waiting period of 90 days from the date of policy commencement and the insured's survival for a period of 28 days from the date of diagnosis or procedure.

    Diagnosis of:

    • Cancer (cancer of specified severity)
    • Kidney failure requiring regular dialysis
    • Primary pulmonary arterial hypertension
    • Liver failure
    • Multiple sclerosis with persisting symptoms
    • Surgical procedure of:
      • Major organ/bone marrow transplant
      • Open chest CABG (coronary artery bypass graft)
      • Aorta graft surgery
    • First time occurrences such as:
      • Stroke leading in permanent symptoms
      • First heart attack (myocardial infarction) of specified severity
      • Coma of specified severity
      • Total blindness

    Lump Sum Benefit: Get a lump sum benefit upon diagnosis of a critical illness or condition to get the necessary treatment

    Quick Turnaround Time: Our average turnaround time for claims settlement is within 14 working days (Subject to all required information/documentation being submitted)

    12 Illnesses Covered With Tax Benefits: Get Insured against 12 critical illnesses. The premium paid is exempt under section 80 D of the Income Tax Act.

    Free Look Period: If you are not satisfied with the coverage, and terms and conditions of the policy, you can opt for cancellation of the policy within 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy documents, provided there has been no claim and you shall be entitled to a refund as per the policy terms and conditions.

    30 Days for Renewal: From the expiry date of the policy, you get 30 days grace period for renewal.

  • Exclusions of Future Generali Future Criticare - Critical Illness Insurance policy

    • Any diagnostic expenses which are not related or not incidental to the current diagnosis and treatment are excluded.
    • Rest Cure, rehabilitation and respite care
    • Obesity/ Weight Control: Expenses related to the surgical treatment of obesity that does not fulfil specific conditions
    • Change-of-Gender treatments
    • Cosmetic or Plastic Surgery: Expenses for cosmetic or plastic surgery or any treatment to change appearance unless for reconstruction following an Accident, Burn(s) or Cancer or as part of medically necessary treatment to remove a direct and immediate health risk to the insured. For this to be considered a medically necessity, it must be certified by the attending Medical Practitioner.
    • Hazardous or Adventure sports: Expenses related to any treatment necessitated due to participation as a professional in hazardous or adventure sports, including but not limited to, para-jumping, rock climbing, mountaineering, rafting, motor racing, horse racing or scuba diving, hand gliding, sky diving, deep-sea diving
    • Breach of law: Code - Expenses for treatment directly arising from or consequent upon any Insured Person committing or attempting to commit a breach of law with criminal intent.
    • Treatment for, Alcoholism, drug or substance abuse or any addictive condition and consequences thereof.
    • Dietary supplements and substances which are available naturally and that can be purchased without prescription, including but not limited to Vitamins, minerals and organic substances unless prescribed by a medical practitioner as part of hospitalisation claim or day care procedures.
    • Unproven Treatments: Code - Expenses related to any unproven treatment, services and supplies for or in connection with any treatment. Unproven treatments are treatments, procedures or supplies that lack significant medical documentation to support their effectiveness.
    • Birth control, Sterility and Infertility
    • Injury or Disease directly or indirectly caused by or arising from or attributable to War, Invasion, Act of Foreign Enemy, War like operations (whether war be declared or not).
    • Circumcision, unless necessary for treatment of a disease, not excluded hereunder or as may be necessitated due to an accident.
    • Vaccination (except as post-bite treatment) inoculation
    • Dental treatment or surgery of any kind unless requiring hospitalisation as a result of accidental Bodily injury.
    • Venereal /Sexually Transmitted disease other than HIV/AIDS, intentional self-Injury.
    • Congenital external illness/ disease/ defect anomaly.
    • Injury or Disease directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by nuclear weapons/ materials.
    • Costs incurred on all methods of treatment including Alternative treatments/ AYUSH treatment other than Allopathy.

Future Generali health insurance FAQ’s

Future Generali has an extensive network of 5,100+ network hospitals across India. One must get admitted to a network hospital in order to avail cashless treatment for their illness. One can get the Future Generali Health Insurance network hospital list which is available "Hospital list link"

There is no upper limit on the number of claims during the policy period. However, the total cumulative claim amount cannot exceed the Policy Sum Insured, unless the chosen plan has a Sum Insured Refill benefit, which provides additional coverage even after filing a claim.

In case of an Individual policy, each Insured person under the policy will have a separate sum insured for them. Individual plan can be bought for self, lawfully wedded spouse, children, parents, siblings, parent in laws, grandparents and grandchildren, son in-law and daughter in-law, uncle, aunty, nephew & niece.

  • Vital Plan : Self, spouse, dependent children and dependent parents.Children will be covered as dependents up to 25 years of age.
  • Superior and Premiere Plan : Self, spouse, dependant or non-dependent children, dependent or non-dependent parents, Dependent Siblings, daughter in law, son in law, parents in law, grandparents and grandchildren.
